My name is Emek Devrim Gülay, and I am honored to welcome you all to the first official session of Nevvar Salih İşgören Model United Nations Conference (NEVMUN’25) as the Director General. I am currently a student at Nevvar Salih İşgören Anatolian High School, and organizing this conference has been both a dream and a journey for me.

When I first encountered the concept of MUN, I was simply curious—curious about the world, about diplomacy, and about how young individuals like us could have a voice in global matters. Over time, that curiosity turned into a passion, and that passion brought us here, to NEVMUN’25.

Our vision for this conference is simple yet ambitious: to create a space where every participant feels inspired, challenged, and included. Together with a dedicated academic and organization team, we have worked tirelessly to ensure a high-quality, smooth, and meaningful experience for all delegates.

As Director General, I encourage you to make the most of this opportunity—engage in debate, embrace new perspectives, and most importantly, enjoy every moment of the journey. Whether this is your first conference or your tenth, NEVMUN’25 is here to provide an unforgettable experience filled with learning, laughter, and growth.
